Assignment: Ed Burtynsky Paragraph

Edward Burtynsky is a fairly famous Canadian photographer/artist. His art is displayed
In several major museums such as the Guggenheim Museum, the National Gallery of Canada, and the Bibliotheque Nationale. The majority and most famous of Burtynsky’s artwork/photographs are of great landscapes that have been altered by industry, such as “Three Gorges Dam” (Above). Burtynsky went on a trek to and around China, where he took his most famous photo of the world’s largest engineering projects, the Three Gorge Dam. His work in China portrays how, as a society, when building on industry, focus on what is good for us in the short-term, but not in the long term of how it affects the environment.
